3 questions and answers

How do the Platform and Intune Assessment differ?

Endpoint Radar Platform is an extra management layer over Microsoft Intune for everyday work: applications, rollouts, devices, scripts, communication and reporting. Intune Assessment is a separate review delivered as a report and action plan. Your team implements the recommendations.

Can I request an assessment without a Platform subscription?

Yes. Request an assessment for your organisation or a customer you are authorised to represent. You create an account for the request; a Platform subscription is not required.

Can I use both?

Yes. Starter includes one, Growth two and Scale four assessments per subscription year. Enterprise is agreed individually. The Platform supports daily management, while an assessment periodically identifies improvements worth prioritising.

Endpoint Radar Platform

5 questions and answers

Does Endpoint Radar Platform replace Microsoft Intune?

You continue using Microsoft Intune. Endpoint Radar Platform adds a management layer connecting applications, devices, scripts, communication and reports. You need your own appropriate Microsoft licences and permissions.

What can my team do with it?

Prepare installers as Intune packages, organise phased application and script rollouts, review device status, manage messages through Notify and build reports. The Platform page gives an overview; the features page explains the individual capabilities.

Do I need an agent?

Endpoint Radar Platform uses a Windows agent for additional device telemetry. Other capabilities use the Microsoft connection and available platform data. During setup, we establish which features you will use and what access they require.

Can I get a demo first?

Yes. Request a Platform demo and tell us which management workflows you want to explore. The Platform is in open beta; availability and setup are aligned with your environment.

How do the included assessments work?

Starter, Growth and Scale include one, two and four assessments per subscription year respectively. Unused assessments do not roll over. An extra assessment within your tenant scope costs €99 excluding VAT. Included assessments also require confirmed scope, access and review before report release.

Intune Assessment

9 questions and answers

What is assessed?

Within the agreed scope, we review policies, security, best practices, applications, scripts, patch status and configuration by audience. Where data is available, this includes assignments, failures, conflicts, Autopilot registrations and application versions. The report identifies areas that could not be assessed or had only partial coverage.

What do I receive?

A report with an executive summary, key risks and priorities, configuration by audience, technical findings and an action plan. Recommendations explain what to change and why, with risk and impact guidance and available evidence. Reports are reviewed before release.

Will the assessment change anything in my tenant?

The review uses read-only access within the approved scope. The report package does not include making changes or implementing recommendations. Your team decides which actions to carry out.

How do I start and who gives consent?

Provide your organisation, tenant and requested scope, and confirm contacts and report recipients. After scope review, an authorised administrator grants Microsoft consent for the required read access. Analysis can then be started. Submitting a request alone does not start analysis.

Is this ISO certification or a full security audit?

The assessment is a technical review of the agreed Intune scope. Recommendations may reference Microsoft guidance and relevant standards. These references do not establish full compliance or certification; organisational policies and areas outside available evidence remain outside that conclusion.

Are application updates and vulnerabilities always fully known?

No. Version comparisons depend on application identification and available vendor information. The report highlights uncertainty and missing evidence. The absence of a finding does not prove an application is current or free of vulnerabilities.

What does an assessment cost and what is excluded?

€299 once, €449 for two assessments in a year or €749 for four, excluding VAT. This covers one tenant with up to 5,000 managed devices; larger or unusually complex environments require custom scope. Implementation, advisory calls and tenant changes are outside the report package.

How do repeat assessments and rechecks work?

Year packages are prepaid and do not renew automatically. Repeat assessments can identify new, recurring and cleared findings where scope, rules and data are comparable. A recheck within 60 days of a paid, released assessment costs €99 excluding VAT.

Who can access the report?

The request establishes authorised contacts and report recipients. The report is released only after review. Assessment terms and privacy information describe the arrangements for use and data handling.
